Descriptions of Enrichment Program Classes

Academic & Elective Classes

Academic Classes

  • 9:30am - 1:00pm for grades K-8
  • The academic enrichment class will meet for 3.5 hours each day to learn and grow with time for lunch and breaks built in!
  • Students can attend full time (Monday - Friday) or part time.
  • Presentations, projects, research, challenges, virtual & physical field trips, and learning to work cooperatively with others are just a few of the activities the students will participate in.
  • Throw in some project based learning on topics agreed upon by the class and we’ll call these classes a huge success!
  • Bringing learning to life using creativity, problem solving, social skills, and fun is our goal!

Elective Classes

  • 1:00 - 2:30pm for grades K-8
  • The elective enrichment classes will meet for 1.5 hours to learn various aspects of the arts and life skills depending on the day. With PE time built in to socialize, get their bodies moving, and enjoy just being a kid. (Theatre is the only elective that doesn't include PE time as they dance during rehearsal of their musical!)
  • Current classes include:
  • Monday - Music: Explore the basics of music as well as learn a new instrument every 9 weeks! Learning music history and reading has proven to increase academic learning too!
  • Tuesday & Thursday (both days are required) - Musical Theatre: Singing, dancing, acting, stage craft, and music are our key components to building a show that every audience will love. All students registered will be included but will be part of a placement audition for their exact role(s). Every role is important to telling the story and we can’t do it without all the students!
  • Wednesday - Computer Skills: Typing, Presentations, Using the Internet safely, Coding, Creating Documents & Spreadsheets, Graphic Design, and many more skills at age appropriate levels to help students be successful with technology.
  • Friday - Art: Draw, Color, Paint, and Create with friends in our art curriculum that teaches students to work with many media types.

1:1 Learning with Teacher

Our curriculum comes with all textbooks, workbooks and supplies needed for the core content areas of English/Language Arts (includes reading and writing), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

There are many options for how to complete the curriculum so it is adaptable to any type of learner.

Curriculum can also be customized for the coursework your student is ready for this year.

A recommended pacing guide will be given that will align with the academic enrichment class that we offer.

The goal is for our curriculum to allow your students to work with you, individually, or any way that works best for them!

*Option to use our curriculum with a certified teacher grading, keeping records, and managing the class for you*

Is your student struggling with understanding something that you just can’t seem to get it to click?

Set up time with one of our certified teachers to work with your student 1 on 1 to help.

Certified teachers can help with all elementary and middle school levels subjects, including math through Algebra I.

Evaluations, Testing, and Transcripts, Oh My!

Evaluations, Testing, and Transcripts, Oh My!

Evaluations, Testing, and Transcripts, Oh My!

Evaluations and/or testing are required each year to maintain your homeschool and/or scholarship status.

We have certified teachers ready and available to complete your evaluation by looking over your portfolio, speaking with you and your student, and seeing how much your student has learned over the past year. Evaluations can be completed in person or virtually.

Yearly testing can be completed by our certified teachers once a year to remain in compliance with your FES-PEP scholarship. Testing has to be completed in person.

Transcripts aren’t required to maintain your schooling status but schools will ask for them when transitioning away from alternate schooling options. E.g. - going back to public or private school, applying for college, etc. We can help you create your transcripts and/or update them as needed so your student can easily transition to the next step of their education.

Field trip dates and exact cost will be shared as they become available but we hope to include trips to the farm, the zoo, a stage show, and other places that can help our kids have fun while learning through experience!
